Study survey

Study programme in English:

  • M.D. Study Programme in General Medicine

  • Dear students,

We present to you on this page a list of surveys to evaluate the teaching quality of each subject of our curriculum.

Results of this evaluation are crucial for our faculty since they will, together with other parameters, become an integral part of the assessment of each faculty department's performance (for more details see http://www.lf2.cuni.cz/Informace/hodnoceni.htm [technical description in Czech]). Until now, the evaluation of teaching has been based on the number of taught lessons. In our opinion this is insufficient and it is necessary to also focus on the quality. It is mainly those who are directly involved in classes on a daily basis who can help us judge the quality - our students. This will motivate us, the teachers, to improve our teaching skills.

Giving the fact that survey results will become part of department's final evaluation and affect departmental budgets, we need to have the most representative evaluation results. As the Czech students tell us, the main reason why some surveys are left unfilled is that students simply forget or do not find time for completing them. This is why this year we have decided - like many universities abroad - to incorporate the completion of survey forms into the exam registration. We believe that students accept this decision.

You are allowed to leave 3 questions unanswered (including the one about fairness of examination) and the system will accept your survey as filled. You can return to those questions later. Completion of the survey is in all cases strictly anonymous: the system records whether a person has filled in the survey but not how. There is also space in the surveys for your further comments and recommendations regarding quality enhancement at the faculty.

Thank you for the time you spend on the evaluation.
